EDSO for Smart Grids (EDSO) gathers leading European distribution system operators (DSOs) for electricity, cooperating to ensure the reliability of Europe’s electricity supply for consumers and enabling their active participation in our energy system. How? By bringing smart grids from vision to reality. EDSO is the key interface between Europe’s DSOs and the European institutions, promoting the development and large-scale testing of smart grid models and technologies in real-life situations, new market designs.




The SEDC is the European industry association dedicated to making the demand side a smart and interactive part of the energy system. We represent businesses and organisations active along the entire value chain, including technology providers, electricity suppliers, energy service companies, power utilities, consultancies, research institutes and other stakeholders in the field.
